PRIME is an innovative appointment based meetings industry event that combines pre-scheduled business appointments, CMP credits for attending education sessions, site inspections of the various destinations, and networking opportunities with industry professionals from across the Asia-Pacific Region, including Hawai`i. The purpose is to conduct business, network, and learn how to make your meetings more successful. The purpose is for meeting planners and industry suppliers to conduct business and develop new business partnerships and skills.
Central to PRIME is the Business Exchange. The PRIME2011 Business Exchange will be held in Honolulu, O`ahu, Hawai`i over the dates of June 8-11.
- MPI Educational Sessions: PRIME is an accredited educational event that recognizes the power of meetings, incentives, conferences & conventions in the growing Asia Pacific Region. The PRIME2011 Business Exchange will include MPI Aloha Chapter sponsored CEU Educational Sessions. Quality MPI Professionals will cover CSR and core meeting skills, and other topics. MPI President and CEO Bruce MacMillan will address attendees about the state of the industry as it relates to the Asia Pacific region, including North America.
- Optional: CMP Certification: Opportunity for qualified meeting professionals attending from Asia and North America may test for their CMP certification.
- Pre-scheduled Appointments: During the Business Exchange, planners will meet one-on-one at pre-scheduled appointments with their choice of industry suppliers from Hawai`i, Asia and Oceania as well as network with other professional planners and suppliers during the social events.
- Networking during the social events provides a tremendous opportunity to develop relationships and connect you with at least 300 professionals that do business throughout the Asia-Pacific region including Hawai`i.
The PRIME2011 post site inspection will be held over the dates of June 11-13. Planners have a choice to experience firsthand either the Big Island of Hawai`i, Kaua`i, Lana`i or Maui.
